Here are the owls I made for my nieces. The pattern was in the fall/winter Knit Simple and they were in fact kind of simple and fun to make. The girls seemed to enjoy them, my 2 year old niece looked at hers and said "Who who!"

They are so cute. I just love them. Owls are one of my favorites.
Seeing these made me stop immediately and go dig through my magazines. Found the one! New granddaughter would be just the age to enjoy these next Christmas.
